Surf your bibliographies
I gave myself a project this weekend that I've wanted to exist for a while: a simple way to convert BibTeX files into HTML pages that give a quick view of what's in and what's not in your bibliography resource. BibViz is up on GitHub now.
It deals with ordinary BibTeX files with a few (totally optional)
extensions: an abstract
field for papers' abstracts, a cites
field
for what an entry cites (so long as you have them in your BibTeX files
too, of course), a separate keywords
field for organizing citations
on theme pages, and a file
field for associating an entry with local
files (like the paper itself).
It doesn't display everything yet, but it does get pretty close. It's worth trying if you're looking for this sort of thing.
